Overview
Temporary Works Engineer - London
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Package
Are you an experienced Temporary Works Engineer looking to join a leading contractor delivering some of London's most complex and high-profile construction projects?
Responsibilities- Design and check temporary works solutions in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Produce calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Support Temporary Works Coordinators and site teams with technical advice.
- Ensure compliance with BS 5975 and relevant health & safety regulations.
- Review temporary works designs from external consultants and subcontractors.
- Attend site inspections and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Contribute to project planning and risk management activities.
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Previous experience working as a Temporary Works Engineer within construction or civil engineering.
- Strong understanding of BS 5975 requirements.
- Proficiency in design software and technical calculations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Working towards or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE) would be advantageous.
