Overview
Civil / Structural Engineer (Rail Infrastructure) – London
£38,000 – £48,000 (DOE)
• Permanent | Hybrid working
Ceto Talent is recruiting for a Civil / Structural Engineer to join a growing consultancy delivering rail infrastructure projects.
This role offers a mix of design and site-based work, providing exposure across the full project lifecycle from initial assessment through to delivery.
Responsibilities- Delivering civil and structural design work on infrastructure projects
- Carrying out site inspections and structural assessments
- Producing calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports
- Supporting multidisciplinary project delivery
- Working with clients and internal teams to meet project requirements
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards
- Experience in civil or structural design within a consultancy environment
- Interest or experience in rail or infrastructure projects
- Understanding of UK design standards
- Experience or willingness to carry out site inspections and condition assessments
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD, Micro Station or BIM tools
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience. Working towards ICE or IStructE membership is beneficial.
