Salary: £44,000 per annum | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management service provider for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a prestigious, high-end leisure and hospitality environment in Putney, South West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work within a modern, technically diverse building featuring premium leisure, hospitality, and commercial facilities.
The successful candidate will join a professional engineering team responsible for maintaining a high-profile site, ensuring all mechanical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in line with statutory compliance and site standards.
This role requires a proactive engineer with strong fault-finding ability, good technical knowledge of building services, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality maintenance support.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services.
- Fault finding, repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs and associated mechanical plant.
- Maintain and support pool plant systems, water treatment equipment and associated leisure facility infrastructure.
- Complete routine inspections, servicing and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records via CAFM systems and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
- Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high standards across the facility.
- Proven experience in building services maintenance (commercial/FM environment preferred).
- UK recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) ideally required.
- Strong mechanical bias with good all-round building services knowledge.
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance systems.
- Good understanding of HVAC and mechanical plant systems.
- Experience with pool plant, water treatment systems or leisure facilities would be highly desirable.
- CAFM system experience desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
