BMS Design Engineer – Central London - £60,000

I am currently representing a specialist Building Management Systems and Smart Buildings contractor, delivering projects across BMS & HVAC optimisation and connected building technologies. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a BMS Design Engineer to join their engineering team.

• - Produce BMS design documentation, drawings, specifications and points schedules.
• - Design Building Management System solutions for commercial projects.
• - Support the design of MSI, metering, IoT and HVAC optimisation systems.
• - Develop system architecture and networking-led designs for connected building environments.
• - Assist in the integration of BMS with wider building systems and smart technologies.
• - Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants and clients throughout the design process.
• - Review technical documentation, manufacturer information and system architecture.
• - Support projects from design through to delivery.

• - Previous experience as a BMS Design Engineer or similar.
• - Experience producing BMS drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• - Understanding of HVAC controls and Building Management Systems.
• - Knowledge of smart building integration and networking principles would be advantageous.
• - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
