We are currently looking for a Civil Design Engineer with 2+ years' experience across highways and drainage design to join a well-established, award-winning and employee-owned consultancy in London.
The business has a strong reputation within the development sector, working closely with some of the UK's major developers to deliver civil infrastructure solutions across large-scale development projects.
The Role- Design highways, roads and drainage infrastructure for large residential and mixed-use developments.
- Produce detailed design information and technical drawings for development schemes.
- Work alongside developers, architects, planners and wider multidisciplinary design teams.
- Support projects through the planning and technical approval process and into detailed design and delivery.
- Take increasing responsibility for your own projects as your experience develops.
- Work closely with experienced engineers in a supportive team environment.
- 2+ years' experience within civil engineering consultancy.
- Experience in both highways and drainage design.
- Experience working on development-led infrastructure projects.
- Good working knowledge of relevant UK design standards and approval processes.
- Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage/Info Drainage or similar.
- A proactive approach with good communication skills and a genuine interest in developing your career.
