Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer
Permanent | London (Wimbledon) | 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
I'm working with a highly respected, design-led engineering consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen their London team.
This is an opportunity for an engineer with 7+ years' experience who is already operating at Senior level, rather than someone looking for their first step up.
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of master planning, infrastructure and development projects, taking responsibility for technical delivery, project management and client relationships.
The Role- Leading civil / infrastructure design projects from concept through to delivery
- Surface and foul water drainage strategies and detailed design
- Building drainage design with strong knowledge of Part H of the Building Regulations - essential
- SUDS design and flood risk assessments
- Roads, access, earthworks and highways design
- Liaising with clients and Local / Highway Authorities
- Supporting bids, tenders and fee proposals
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting project teams
- 7+ years' relevant experience in civil / infrastructure engineering
- Proven experience within a consultancy environment
- Strong building drainage experience and knowledge of Part H - essential
- Experience delivering infrastructure and drainage design for development projects
- Confident managing projects and client relationships
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status desirable
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Software:
Civil 3D / AutoCAD, Info Drainage or Micro Drainage. Navisworks / Infra Works and vehicle tracking experience desirable.
