Alice Rose Recruitment is working with a leading Building Services provider to recruit a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer for a landmark commercial development in Shoreditch.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team, working on a prestigious commercial building with exposure to a wide range of mechanical and HVAC plant. The business is known for investing in its engineers and offers genuine long-term career progression.

Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and fault finding across a modern commercial building, ensuring all mechanical and HVAC systems operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Respond to reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems
- Service chillers, split systems and associated plant
- Carry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors
- Monitor BMS alarms and investigate faults
- Complete maintenance reports and logbooks
- Escort specialist subcontractors when required
- Ensure statutory compliance and health & safety standards are maintained
- Deliver a high standard of service to the client
- Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3)
- Valid F-Gas Certification
- Strong background in commercial building services maintenance
- Experience maintaining chillers, split systems and HVAC plant
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Client-facing communication skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to work as part of a team
