Role & Responsibilities Lead multiple fire engineering projects from early design stages through to construction and completion
Develop fire strategies and detailed engineering solutions to support regulatory compliance and approvals
Undertake fire engineering analysis including CFD modelling and performance based design assessments
Mentor and support junior Fire Engineers to develop technical skills and project understanding
Attend internal, client, and design team meetings both remotely and on site when required
Manage project delivery across RIBA stages ensuring quality, programme, and technical accuracy
Produce high quality technical reports to support planning submissions and building control approval
Contribute to the development and growth of the fire engineering team within the consultancy
Skills & Experience Required Degree in Fire Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
Minimum five years experience within fire engineering consultancy environments
Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership with relevant professional body Proven experience delivering fire engineered solutions across UK based building projects
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, codes, and performance based design approaches
Experience in CFD modelling and fire engineering analysis tools used within consultancy practice
Excellent report writing skills with ability to present technical information clearly
Strong leadership and mentoring ability to support team development and project delivery
Salary & Benefits Salary range between 70,000 and 85,000 depending on experience and level
