Hydraulic Modeller
Location:
London
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
An exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Modeller to join a growing consultancy in London, working on a range of flood risk, drainage and water management projects across the UK.
The Role:- Develop and run 1D/2D hydraulic models using software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and/or Info Works ICM.
- Undertake flood risk assessments, hydraulic assessments and drainage studies.
- Analyse model outputs and produce technical reports, drawings and flood mapping.
- Support scheme development, including flood mitigation and drainage design.
- Work closely with engineers, planners, environmental consultants and clients.
- Contribute to projects from initial assessment through to detailed design and delivery.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment.
- Proficiency with TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, Info Works ICM or similar.
- Strong GIS and data analysis skills.
- Good technical report writing and communication skills.
- Consultancy experience would be advantageous.
