£50k-£55k plus benefits
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Civil Engineer or Civils Technician to join their team and work on a varied portfolio of infrastructure and development projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid UK infrastructure design experience who understands the challenges of taking projects from feasibility through to construction. Our client will consider candidates from either an engineering or technician background, while experience across both design and technical delivery would be a distinct advantage.
The role will involve working closely with architects, planners, developers and other consultants to deliver practical infrastructure solutions covering highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks and site levels. Experience in the design of on-site and off-site drainage, SuDS, attenuation and foul drainage, together with S278 and S38 highway schemes, is highly desirable.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of UK infrastructure standards and experience using design software such as Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, Flow, Info Drainage or similar. The ability to produce drainage strategies, technical reports and planning information, along with experience liaising with local authorities, water companies and statutory undertakers, would be beneficial.
For an Engineer, a Civil Engineering degree and progression towards chartership would be advantageous, while a strong technical background and relevant UK experience will be equally valued for a Technician.
This is a great opportunity for a proactive and technically capable Civil Engineer or Civils Technician looking for varied projects, genuine responsibility and the chance to develop their career within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
