Lead Security Engineer

Growing commerce company seeks a Lead Security Engineer to join a small, high-trust security function to take ownership of meaningful security engineering projects from end to end.

This is a broad generalist security engineering role in a Microsoft environment. You'll work across identity and access, Zero Trust, cloud security, vulnerability management, SIEM/detection and application security, with an early focus on improving SSO and access management, strengthening joiner/mover/leaver processes, reducing reliance on traditional VPN access and improving visibility across the application estate.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building and improving security controls, automating manual processes and working closely with IT, Engineering and senior stakeholders. Experience across areas such as Entra , AWS/GCP, SIEM, vulnerability management, Zero Trust or security automation would be particularly relevant.

A great opportunity for a strong Security Engineer ready to take broader technical ownership, or an existing Lead who still wants to remain hands-on.

Hybrid (2-3 days in central London), up to £80,000 base + bonus + bens.
