£45,000-£70,000 | Remote (UK Based) | Permanent | Building Services
This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an established Building Services consultancy in Ingatestone.
With opportunities available across both intermediate and senior levels, the role would suit an electrical engineer with strong design capability who is comfortable contributing across pre-design and detailed electrical design.
Experience with Amtech is particularly relevant, while candidates who are also conversant with Revit would be well suited to the position.
The Role- Delivering electrical Building Services design across projects
- Supporting projects from pre-design through to detailed design
- Producing electrical calculations and technical design information
- Using Amtech as part of the electrical design process
- Working with Revit-based project information where required
- Developing and reviewing electrical design solutions
- Coordinating electrical requirements with wider Building Services disciplines
- Resolving technical design and coordination issues
- Working closely with engineers and wider project teams
- Taking greater technical responsibility at Senior Engineer level
What They're Looking For
- Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within Building Services
- Applications welcomed at Intermediate and Senior level
- Strong electrical design capability
- Experience using Amtech
- Experience across pre-design and technical design stages
- Revit capability would be highly beneficial
- Good understanding of Building Services design principles
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills
- Ability to take ownership of design responsibilities appropriate to your experience level
- £45,000-£70,000 salary, depending on experience
