Locations: London, Epsom, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Derby or Peterborough
Rate: £450 - £550 per day (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance
Travel: UK-wide travel required (expenses covered)
We're looking for an experienced Electronic Systems Security Consultant to support the design and delivery of security solutions on major UK infrastructure projects.
This is a design-focused role, ideal for someone who is confident working independently and can quickly integrate into project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems.
- Produce and review designs using Revit, BIM and CAD
. - Work as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, scopes of work and design packages.
- Support clients and project teams to deliver high-quality security solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in electronic security systems design
. - Proficient with Revit, BIM and CAD
. - Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the last 5 years.
- Good knowledge of CCTV, access control, IDS, VMS/SMS and related security technologies.
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations (NPSA, ISO, LPCB etc.).
- Ability to travel across the UK as required.
- Eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
- Design-led background.
- Experience on infrastructure, defence, aviation, utilities or similar complex projects.
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
