Your role and responsibilities

Mechanical delivery on high rise and/or complex projects.
Undertake and oversee design work from concept through to detailed design ensuring technical excellence, always maintaining outstanding levels of client service
Complete and present designs in a highly visual and graphical style.
Act in the capacity of Lead Mechanical Designer, to co-ordinate the tasks to ensure all deadlines and priorities are met.
Act in a supportive and be a positive influential for junior staff across offices and project work streams.
React quickly to client and architectural requirements for plant space, riser requirements and energy strategy.
Be involved in competitions where innovative thinking is required.
Have a working site knowledge and understanding of Builders Work implications.
Have a working design and installation experience in public health design.
Have a sustainable mindset to develop and embed sustainable principals within our designs.

Become an integral part of the high rise spearhead team taking responsibility for mechanical design of projects.
Ensuring technical quality in mechanical design output.
Help deliver projects profitably and to the satisfaction of our clients.

To be a qualified Engineer with 6-10 years’ experience having a proven and demonstrable track record for your core discipline and a working knowledge of complimentary disciplines
Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
To hold a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree
To be a Chartered Engineer or be working towards IEng or CEng status.
To have an appreciation of commercial and technical risks and to act appropriately upon them.
To have an interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools. We seek engineers that fit with our culture and have experience working digitally.
Expertise in Revitis essential, with skills inRhinoand

Grasshopper preferred.
Experience in applying mechanical design principals to computational methods.
The right candidate will have a portfolio which demonstrates creative thinking, flair and broad range of technical skills. Illustrating the ability to produce complex engineering designs and manage complex geometries.
