Duties:Project Planning and Execution :
oProvidesinputtothe Business Developmentteamtodeveloptechnicalprojectplans ,anddefinescope,milestones,payment plans,andbudget.
oParticipatesintechnicaldesignanddevelopmentactivitiestodetermineanyeffectstoscheduleandcost.
oCollaboratewithotherdepartmentstoallocateresourcestomeetinvoices,scheduleandbudgetrequirements.
oCorrespondwithsupplychaintoensurematerialsmeetcontractualcostandschedulerequirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:oWorkscloselywithcontracts,engineering,manufacturing,quality,supply chain,andtestteamstoensuresmoothprojectexecution.
oCoordinateswithsubcontractorsandsupplierstoensuretimelydeliveryofcomponentsandmaterialsmeetingprojectspecifications.
oParticipatesinregularprojectreviews,bothinternallyandwithclients,providingupdatesoncontractprogressandchallenges.
oOverseesengineeringteamtodevelop,reviewandfinalizetechnicaldatapackages.
Documentation and Compliance:oMonitorsandtracksprogramdocumentation,includingcustomermandatedrequirementsandinternalspecifications,ex:drawings,test procedures,and reports.
oEnsurescontractactivitiesandproductsmeetscoperequirementsestablishedbytheprogram.
oSupportsauditsandinspections,addressingallcomplianceconcernsrelatedtoprogramactivities.
Testing and Validation:oCollaborateswithotherdepartmentstoensureprojectdeliverablesmeetperformanceandqualitystandards.
oWorkswithqualityassuranceandtestingteamstoidentifyareasofimprovementandimplementnecessarychanges.
5.Risk Management and Continuous Improvement :oIdentifiesprojectrisksanddevelopsandimplementsmitigationstrategies.
oContributestoprocessimprovementsthatincludescommunicatinglessonslearnedtoallteammembersaimedatimprovingfutureprojectefficiencyandeffectiveness.
Communication:oBuildsandmaintainspositivecustomerrelationshipsthroughprofessionalcommunication,responsiveness,andproactiveissueresolution
oServesastheprimarycommunicationinterfaceamonginternalcross-functional teams,subcontractors,andcustomerstoensureclear,timely,andconsistentprojectexecution.
oPrepares,coordinates,anddeliversprojectstatusbriefingsandreviewsusing
PowerPointpresentationsforinternalleadershipandcustomeraudiences.
oLeadthedevelopmentofintegratedprojectpresentationsbycollectinginputsfromengineering,operations,finance,quality,andotherfunctionalteams;ensure completeness,accuracy,andconsistencyofcontent.
oActivelytrackandfollowupwithcontributingdepartmentstoensureassignedpresentationsections,data,andmetricsarecompletedonschedule.
oFacilitateregularmeetings,reviews,anddiscussionswithinternalteams,subcontractors,andcustomerstoalignexpectationsandresolveissues.
oEnsurecleardocumentationandcommunicationofactionitems,decisions,andnextstepsresultingfrommeetingsandpresentations.
Preferred SkillsProficiencyinprojectmanagementtools(e.g.,Microsoft Project) isaplus.
Experiencewithinthedefenseindustry
Bachelor’sdegreein
Engineering(Mechanical,Electrical,Aerospace,orrelatedfield)
3-5yearsinprojectengineeringwithinthedefenseoraerospaceindustryisaplus.
Certifications:
CAPMorPMPaplus.
Strongleadershipskills
Abilitytocreateandsustainstrongrelationshipswithteamandcustomers
Strong problem-solvingskillsandtechnicalknowledgeacrossengineeringdisciplines.
Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
