We are looking for an experienced Talent Manager to join our team, specifically to recruit and manage a roster of 5-10 creators within the TV, Entertainment and Comedy sector. In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for your talent, helping them navigate everything from day‑to‑day admin to long‑term career strategy. We’re looking for someone who understands how to take the comedy niche and turn it into a successful, multi‑platform brand—securing brand deals, broadcast spots, and new projects that fit their unique voice.
WorkingPattern & Probation
In‑Office:
To help you settle in, you’ll spend 3‑5 days per week in the office for the first month. Once you’re comfortable with the role and our systems, this will move to 2 days per week in office.
Probation:
There is a 3‑month probation period to ensure the role is a good fit for everyone.
- Talent Management:
Act as the dedicated manager for your roster, ensuring their career goals are being met through proactive planning and clear communication. - Securing Opportunities:
Proactively pitch and secure partnerships, brand campaigns, and media appearances. You’ll be expected to think creatively about how your talent can cross over from digital platforms into mainstream entertainment, panel shows, and scripted/unscripted TV. - Contract & Deal Making:
Lead negotiations to get the best commercial terms for your talent. You’ll also need to be confident in legal terminology and signing talent contracts. - Career Strategy:
Help talent grow by identifying new areas for them to explore, such as podcasting, book deals, or TV format development. - Industry Networking:
Build and maintain your own network of contacts across production companies, brands, and agencies to keep your talent top‑of‑mind. - Daily Operations:
Manage the essentials like calendars, travel arrangements, campaign deliveries, and ensuring invoices are raised promptly and accurately. - Support &
Collaboration:
Work with the wider team to share industry insights and seek advice from senior directors on more complex or high‑value deals.
- 1‑2 years of experience in talent management or a similar role.
- TV & Broadcast Expertise:
Demonstrable connections within the UK TV production landscape and a solid understanding of the commissioning process, casting requirements, and how to structure compelling pitch decks for broadcast within the entertainment industry. - Negotiation:
You’re comfortable talking money and know how to advocate for a client’s value. - Knowledge:
You have a genuine interest in (or experience with) Comedy Creators and/or Entertainment. - Organisation:
You can stay on top of multiple schedules and projects without breaking a sweat. - Communication:
You’re great at managing relationships, whether that’s discussing content reshoots or pitching to a new brand partner.
