As the Compliance Manager for the Play Radar the iGaming unit of Sportradar, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and certification of the compliance programme management framework.

THE CHALLANGE
  • Design, implement, and maintain the compliance management framework for Play Radar, ensuring adherence to regulatory, technical, and operational requirements across global regulated gaming markets.
  • Lead regulatory certification and audit activities for iGaming products, platforms, and integrations, including coordination with regulators, independent testing laboratories, and certification bodies.
  • Oversee compliance governance relating to licensing obligations, responsible gambling, AML/KYC controls, information security, and market-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, legal, security, and operational teams to ensure all platform releases, third-party integrations, and gaming services meet applicable compliance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement of compliance policies, controls, risk assessments, and monitoring processes to support scalable operations across multiple regulated jurisdictions.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
  • Working in close cooperation with the Sportradar Legal Team, the Sportradar Compliance Team, and the Sportradar Information Security Team.
  • Ensuring documentation complies with Sportradar Program Delivery Framework standards.
  • Supporting budgeting processes relating to compliance programmes.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and testing laboratories to ensure all required standards, policies, approvals, and certifications are in place for Play Radar’s iGaming content to enter and operate within regulated markets.
  • Designing and developing programmes, policies, and practices to ensure the organisation complies with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the monitoring of business activities to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Leading compliance and certification projects as the responsible project manager.
  • Monitoring changes to relevant laws and regulations and coordinating internal updates with team members to ensure operating manuals and procedural documentation remain current and compliant.
  • Preparing compliance status reports for internal management and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Reporting on project schedules, scope, and costs to middle management.
  • Ensuring compliance project roadmaps, milestones, and objectives are delivered within approved budgets.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of cross-functional departmental processes and operational workflows.
ABOUT YOU
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a related compliance or regulated industry role.
  • 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Extensive and proven experience operating across regulated iGaming markets globally.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks across UKGC, MGA, SGA, DGOJ, ADM, various U.S. state jurisdictions, and other international gaming regulators.
  • Experience managing relationships with regulators, testing laboratories, and certification bodies.
