Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Financial Accountant to join a well-established Non-Banking Financial Institution based in London. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in accounting, strong working knowledge of Capital Markets and SPVs, and experience of managing financial reporting for a portfolio of clients. • Preparing and analysing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Ensuring timely submission of financial reports and statutory filings.
• Managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Supporting the audit process and liaising with external auditors.
• Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting reconciliation activities.
• Monitoring regulatory changes impacting financial reporting obligations.

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets and SPVs.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
