Location: City of Westminster
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive team, responsible for leading all financial operations and strategy. The CFO will drive financial planning, oversee SaaS metrics, manage investor and banking relations, and ensure compliance, supporting the company's growth and profitability objectives. The role is London-based and will include ad‑hoc travel to Sweden. We operate a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days in the office for all staff.
StrategicFinancial Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with growth objectives.
- Partner with the CEO, the private equity company, and executive teams to drive operational efficiencies and align financial goals with business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for short‑term and long‑term decision‑making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes.
- Present detailed financial analysis to the executive teams and board.
- Monitor key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV:
CAC ratio, NRR) to optimize financial health and value creation.
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and stakeholders.
- Optimize capital structure to support growth and strategic M&A opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with ongoing lender obligations.
- Drive operational improvements across finance and other departments, focusing on automation and SaaS‑specific metrics.
- Ensure effective cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and cost control.
- Develop financial policies, procedures, and controls for efficiency and compliance.
- Oversee all financial and legal compliance matters, including accounting standards, tax regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and cyber‑security risks.
- Build and lead a high‑performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial teams to drive business performance.
- Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA or international equivalent).
- Significant experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally in SaaS or high‑growth technology sectors.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, subscription revenue models, and digital business operations.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead through change, drive digital transformation, and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- SaaS metric improvement (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV:
CAC ratio, NRR) - EBITDA growth
- Cash flow optimisation
- Accurate forecasting and reporting
- Successful capital management.
