Financial Accountant

An amazing US law firm are looking of an experienced Financial Accountant who is moving from Practice into a law firm. They have a very close-knit finance team where they really look after their staff. They are seeking a highly skilled individual to take ownership of statutory financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities.

Responsibilities in this Financial Accountant position -

• Preparing and overseeing statutory accounts for LLPs, property companies, and dormant subsidiaries.
• Managing corporate tax computations and VAT returns.
• Leading statutory audit processes and liaising with professional advisors.
• Monitoring regulatory, financial, and tax changes that impact the business.
• Driving improvements in systems and processes, including adopting AI solutions where applicable.
• Supporting ad hoc projects and reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For

• ACA/ACCA qualified with 4+ years PQE
  , ideally from a Practice background
  .
• Deep and current knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  , including upcoming changes (e.g., IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 adoption) and LLP SORP.
• Recent experience preparing financial statements under UK GAAP.
• Strong technical expertise combined with excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Awareness of SRA client account rules is advantageous.
