To act as an SME for the Loans portfolio across a dynamic Loan services team. To ensure that facilities under the control and management of Loan services are maintained accurately within the systems and controls available. Ensuring all facilities and transactions can be serviced and all drawings have been processed in a timely manner in accordance with MUFG policies (credit approvals, legal framework, current regulatory and compliance requirement) and procedures.

Essential Functions:
- Manage the daily workload drive from Loan IQ and Banks core systems to notify and process Loan Operations activity across the Loan portfolio. This includes rollovers, utilisation requests, pre-payments, repayments etc.
- Accurate input of all operational events aligned to the agent and customer cut off times as outlined in the agreement, in addition to CCY market cut off times.
- Build strong communication and network cross the Loan Services team to ensure all issues and discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner. Escalation to manager is a must.
- Provide assistance, as requested, to line management in the control of daily work flows to ensure timely completion of daily obligations.
- Manage the instructions received in line with the facility agreement to ensure agent and borrower notices are as detailed in the agreement
- Operate as product specialist providing subject matter expertise where required.
- Operation as detailed in the user guides and agreements.
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in core academic subjects
- A Level (or equivalent) preferred
- Additional language skills advantageous
- Experience of working in a fast-moving environment under time pressure whilst retaining strong attention to detail.
- Loan experience and understanding of the financial conventions and market.
- Excellent communication skills
