Overview
Are you a qualified GI actuary, looking to take your career to the next level within a global insurer? This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of P&C risk and the overall business strategy.
Key responsibilities- Provide challenge, oversight and risk opinions on reserving, product design and pricing, exposure management, business plan, solvency and related areas.
- Oversee stress and scenario testing, driving improvements in these practices, while reviewing and challenging the company’s financial risk profile and helping to develop existing Risk Appetite statements and metrics.
- Contribute to risk assessments, including emerging risks and climate change, and contribute to the production of the Own Risk Assessment (ORA) report.
With strong financial skills and business awareness, you will have a solid understanding of the UK market and regulatory environment. You will also possess strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Risk management experience would be a bonus.
