Purchase Ledger (Accounts Assistant)

Location:

Toyota Edgware
Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 basic (dependent on experience)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours/week, 1-hour lunch)
Hybrid Working: 2 days from home once trained (Friday office rota 1 in
2), 3 days in office
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Process 15–50 payments each morning by 10am
• Post cash entries for 11 bank statements daily by 11:30am
• Import P&L and balance reports by 10am
• Process invoices and manage the purchase ledger inbox daily
• Match invoices to purchase orders using the “Compleat” software system
• Handle weekly and monthly car warranty processing (similar to invoice handling)
• Process monthly car benefit invoices
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounts tasks

• Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
• Highly computer literate, with confident use of Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
• Experience with automotive accounting systems (Keyloop/Drive) is desirable
• Knowledge of the Compleat invoice matching system would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure
• Organised and efficient, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Must live locally to the Edgware area
