Group Financial Controller – International SME

Acuity Associates has been retained by a confidential international SME that designs, manufactures and supplies specification-led products for commercial environments
. The business operates across the UK, Australia and the USA and is entering an important phase of growth, systems improvement and international consolidation.

We are looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to work closely with the CFO and take ownership of group reporting, financial control, audit, cash management, governance and finance operations across multiple entities.

This role needs a technically strong, detail-led qualified accountant who can bring structure, accuracy and control, while still operating hands-on in an SME environment.

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Strong group financial control experience
• Multi-entity reporting and consolidation exposure
• Excellent technical accounting, audit and controls experience
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders across finance and operations
• A hands-on, practical, improvement-focused mindset

Experience in a manufacturing, product, stock-led, design-led or international SME environment would be highly advantageous. ERP implementation or systems improvement experience would also be valuable.

The successful candidate will need to be within a realistic commute of the client’s South East head office, with hybrid working available.
