Rates Sales Lead Systematic Hedge Funds

Our client, a leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Rates Sales professional to join its London-based team, covering systematic hedge fund clients. This role sits within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, focused on delivering cutting-edge rates solutions across a sophisticated client base.

• Develop and manage relationships with systematic hedge funds, acting as a trusted advisor across rates products
• Drive revenue through proactive idea generation, trade execution, and client engagement
• Partner closely with trading, structuring, and quantitative teams to deliver tailored solutions
• Identify and capitalise on market opportunities across interest rate derivatives, government bonds, and related products
• Leverage electronic platforms to enhance client execution and engagement
• Stay at the forefront of market developments, particularly in macro rates and systematic strategies

• 3+ years' experience in Rates Sales, ideally with exposure to hedge fund clients
• Strong understanding of systematic investment strategies and quantitative approaches
• A technical sales mindset, with the ability to engage in detailed product and market discussions
• Demonstrated passion for rates markets and a genuine interest in covering systematic hedge funds
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data-driven clients
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or e-trading workflows is advantageous
