Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing reconciliations, supporting schedules and documentation for statutory and management reporting
  • Supporting audit processes and liaising with external advisers
  • Interpreting accounting standards and helping maintain financial controls and policy documentation
  • Working with finance and technology teams to identify efficiencies and improve reporting workflows, including through automation
  • Supporting reporting requirements in a dynamic regulatory environment while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Candidate Profile
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • ACA (or equivalent) with around 1–2 years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Practical experience preparing financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP; exposure to US GAAP beneficial
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying process improvements
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance‑focused environments is advantageous
