Position: Advisor, Benefits & Pension (EMEA)
Location: City Of London

Advisor, Benefits and Pension (EMEA & APAC)

Based in London, UK. Hybrid work arrangement (2–3 days per week in the office). Reports to Head, Total Rewards.

Key Accountabilities
  • Plan Governance – manage governance and compliance of all regional pension schemes, ensuring alignment with local regulations (UK Pensions Regulator, etc.).
  • Strategic Evaluation – support ongoing evaluation of pension plan performance, investment options, and fee structures.
  • Implementation – oversee transition or implementation of new pension schemes for emerging markets within the portfolio.
  • Member Support – act as primary point of contact for complex pension queries; lead annual pension clinics or financial education sessions for employees.
  • Audit & Reporting – coordinate ongoing pension audits; ensure timely filing of all regulatory reports and tax documentation.
  • Program Design & Renewals – support annual renewal process for health, dental, life, and disability insurance; prepare cost‑benefit analyses and recommend to senior leadership.
  • Vendor Management – primary liaison for benefit brokers and carriers; hold vendors accountable for service‑level agreements and performance.
  • Market Benchmarking – monitor regional trends, conduct benchmarking surveys to keep TMX competitive.
  • Well‑being Initiatives – lead and launch holistic well‑being programs (mental, physical, and financial) tailored to EMEA workforce.
  • Communication – create and maintain benefit guides, intranet content, and induction materials to ensure high employee engagement.
  • Enrollment & Data – manage end‑to‑end enrollment process and maintain data integrity within Workday and vendor platforms.
  • Payroll Integration – collaborate with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions, taxable benefit reporting (P11D), and invoice reconciliation.
  • Policy Maintenance – keep all benefit policies and employee handbooks up to date with local labor laws and TMX standards.
  • Budgeting – monitor and report on regional benefit spend; provide data for quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting cycles.
Must Have(s)
  • 5–7+ years of experience in Benefits and Pension administration or consulting, with a significant focus on the EMEA region (UK, Germany, Austria).
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday or a similar global HRIS platform.
  • In‑depth understanding of UK and European pension legislation and taxable benefit regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships with global stakeholders.
