Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join a large in‑house pension scheme. The role entails supporting the Administration team in delivering technical administration cases and calculations across a Defined Benefit Scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Complete member calculations and correspondence, ensuring delivery within SLAs.
  • Process high‑earner calculations, applying all relevant legislative protections.
  • Perform QA checks on colleague communications for technical and legislative accuracy.
  • Update and reconcile worklists to maintain compliance standards.
  • Review transfer cases to ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Manage inboxes and respond promptly to member and stakeholder queries.
  • Support annual audits by handling auditor queries.
  • Complete and review complex member calculations, maintaining all SLA requirements.
  • Review complaints and historic transfer cases to ensure accurate resolution.
  • Authorise daily payments in line with internal controls.
  • Support processes that minimise escalations, complaints and compliance risks.
  • Assist with testing and delivery of cyclical and key business projects.
  • Support team members studying for PMI exams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements

  • UK Pension Scheme knowledge
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
  • 3+ years of DB Pension Scheme administration experience
  • Experience of technical benefit calculations
  • Up to date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation
