Trade Services Officer - Perm

Our client, a London based Bank, is seeking a Trade Services Officer to join their team on a temporary basis (with a possibility of going permanent).

The successful Trade Services Officer will check/prepare incoming & outgoing documentation within the Department, covering LC opening, amendments, collections, documentary checking, payments, liquidations, including input of entries/SWIFTs. They will also support secondary business activity involving processing of transactions under Risk Participation (inward and outward) and syndicated loans.

Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Documentary checking (first & second) including payments.

Handling/processing of LC Opening/Amendments/Guarantees/Bonds Inward and Outward.

Handling/processing of Bills for Collection.

Handling transactions from secondary market (forfaiting, risk participations, syndicated loans).

Ensuring that LCs are advised/confirmed promptly.
