Director, Asset Management - Institutional Coverage

Overview

We're looking for a Director, Asset Management to join our Institutional Coverage team in London. In this senior leadership role, you will take the lead on some of our most complex and high‑profile client relationships, building strong, sustainable partnerships across the asset management community. You will deepen existing relationships while identifying new opportunities that support long‑term income growth for the business.

You will work with colleagues across coverage and product teams to deliver tailored, cross‑product solutions, anticipating client needs and finding opportunities to deepen and broaden relationships.

Alongside this, you will play a key role in developing the Lloyds Banking Group franchise by proactively originating new business, enhancing the quality of client engagement, and driving income growth across financial markets, lending and broader Group capabilities. Throughout everything you do, you will ensure strong risk rigor, effective collaboration with internal partners, and full alignment with regulatory and Group policy requirements.

• Ensure risk rigor, effective collaboration with internal partners, and alignment with regulatory and Group policy requirements.

• 10+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally across markets, advisory or lending.
• Strong track record engaging C‑suite clients in the asset management space, generating ideas, solving complex problems and driving revenue.
• Gravitas and credibility, with a solution‑led approach that moves beyond relationship management to deliver commercially impactful outcomes.
• Broad product exposure and a collaborative approach to delivery.
• Dynamic, driven and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in a complex environment.

• This role is considered certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime and requires mandatory qualifications.
