This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team specialising in the distribution of credit products for LBCM’s institutional and corporate client base. The role suits an experienced flow salesperson who can drive high‑frequency client engagement, facilitate primary and secondary market activity, and ensure consistent execution of flow business across market cycles.
ResponsibilitiesDrive core UK client relationships through consistent idea generation and high‑touch engagement, achieving top‑tier client rankings while increasing credit flow volumes and revenue across GBP, EUR, and USD markets.
Demonstrate strong market and credit knowledge by writing and distributing market analysis, positioning LBCM as a reliable and high‑quality flow counter party.
Be the key partner for Syndicate and DCM in primary issuance, shaping investor engagement through market insight, directing distribution strategy, delivery of colour on deals away from LBCM and driving strong execution outcomes.
Participate in and lead client engagement events on behalf of LBCM Credit Sales, representing the franchise in high‑profile meetings, roadshows and targeted events alongside Trading, Syndicate and Coverage colleagues.
Identify new flow client opportunities, distribution gaps, and product extensions, feeding into desk‑level and broader Global Markets growth strategies.
Act as a senior leader and role model for the flow credit sales team, actively coaching and developing colleagues to strengthen client engagement and drive new business opportunities.
Qualifications- Proven ability to price, execute and risk‑manage flow efficiently.
- Strong understanding and a minimum of 7years experience of credit product markets.
- Track record of driving revenue generation in a flow business, including volume increases and ranking improvements in a regulated markets environment.
- Comfortable operating in a hands‑on build‑out scenario and influencing desk strategy.
- Strong communication, collaborative and influencing and negotiation skills, with confidence to engage at a senior level – clients and internal stakeholders.
- Sound commercial judgement under pressure, with a disciplined approach to risk management and conduct.
- Commitment to developing others and sustaining a high‑performing, inclusive team culture.
- Good knowledge of consumer asset classes.

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime. Successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, including a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement and annually. They will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks. As a certified colleague, details will be published on the FCA’s Financial Services Register.
The role has been identified as a Client‑dealing function under SYSC
27.8.18R as defined in the FCA Handbook. It involves activities that substantially connect with the carrying on of regulated activities by the firm, including dealing with a person or their property.
Eligibility for managing or supervising a certification employee is defined in SYSC
27.8.13R. These are FCA‑specified significant‑harm functions.
