Legal Counsel - Structured Finance​/Securitisation

Overview

This is a strong opportunity for a structured finance or securitisation lawyer to join a leading financial services organisation in a broad, high-quality in-house role supporting treasury, capital optimisation and funding activity.

This position sits within a specialist legal team advising senior stakeholders across finance and treasury functions on complex structured finance transactions and related regulatory matters. The role offers exposure to a wide range of asset classes and structures, with genuine involvement in transaction structuring from inception through execution.

• Advising on the structuring, negotiation and execution of structured finance transactions, including securitisations, asset sales, risk transfer transactions and insurance-linked structures.
• Support capital optimisation initiatives and draft and negotiate transaction documentation.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting structured finance and manage external counsel whilst developing and maintaining internal legal templates, policies and procedures.

• UK qualified solicitor with at least 4 years experience in structured finance/ securitisation, with any derivatives experience being a bonus.
• Confident working in a fast-paced, transactional environment.
