Overview
Join our Global Credit Automated Trading Strategies desk in London as an Electronic Risk Manager. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about finance who thrive in a trading floor environment and are eager to set and achieve challenging goals. As an Associate in the front‑office team, you will manage electronic Credit Trading Algorithms and service institutional and corporate accounts.
Responsibilities- Proactively manage risk, liquidity, and exposure across all trading desk operations.
- Drive pre‑trade analysis, trade execution, and design optimal risk‑management strategies for large trades.
- Oversee price delivery, risk management, and data analytics for the Electronic Global Credit franchise.
- Respond to day‑to‑day client requests and needs, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market drivers, evaluate market developments, and provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Perform detailed data analysis related to the business and its revenue drivers.
- Understand and implement the firm’s policies for managing various types of risks associated with credit trading.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Some experience in Global Credit Trading or a closely related field.
- Strong grasp of fundamental and technical aspects of traded products and the ability to anticipate market movements.
- Proficient understanding of the transaction cycle and execution strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior management.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas at all levels within the organization.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while maintaining composure and focus under challenging conditions.
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages.
- Strong ability to perform data analysis and present findings clearly.
- Self‑directed and highly motivated, capable of working independently.
- Experience managing client relationships directly.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence (as assessed by the firm) and, where appropriate, approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
