Role SummaryPricing Manager role is a new position and is ideal for an individual who wants to progress their career in a growing company. It is ideal for an individual with a depth of pricing expertise specifically around modelling, price elasticity along with the ability to drive strategy through the organisation.
Flexible WorkingFlexible working – 1‑2 days in Central London – will be occasional UK travel.
ResponsibilitiesAs Pricing Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that support profitable growth, increase customer acquisition and improve the lifetime customer value.
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Pricing Manager will lead pricing analysis and identify opportunities to optimise pricing performance across a national and regional level.
The Pricing Manager will conduct pricing elasticity analysis and use customer behaviour data to support commercial decision making.
In the role the Pricing Manager will support the development of customer lifetime value modelling, segmentation and tracking capabilities.
The Pricing Manager will use data, analytics to identify risks and opportunities that influence pricing strategy.
It is key that the Pricing Manager can translate strategic pricing recommendations into commercial initiatives that can be rolled out across the business.
The Pricing Manager will work collaboratively with multiple functions including finance and operations to improve pricing insight and commercial performance.
QualificationsSuitable for an individual with fantastic analytical skills along with a high level of commercial acumen.
Pricing expertise must include working with price elasticity, this must be for a consumer focused industry.
You will have a proven track record of interpreting complex datasets and be able to generate and communicate actionable insights.
You will have worked in a consumer facing organisation and have direct experience of price elasticity, A/B testing and customer lifetime value methodologies.
For the Pricing Manager role it is essential that you have worked with modelling, forecasting, experimental design and analysis.
It is essential to be able to demonstrate the ability to build credibility across multiple stakeholders delivering cross‑functional recommendations.
It is essential that you are an excellent communicator who can influence with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have excellent planning and organisation skills and will be able to work independently on your own initiative, a self‑starter with a can‑do attitude.
The role may lead to team management within the next 6‑12 months.
Benefits & LocationExcellent package – up to £90,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Location – 1‑2 days a week in Central London; may involve some travel from time to time.
