If you're an experienced Bridging Underwriter looking for more than a transactional underwriting role, this is an opportunity to influence how a growing specialist lender develops its underwriting function. You'll work on complex bridging transactions while building a clear pathway towards a future Head of Underwriting position.
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll have the autonomy to make commercially balanced lending decisions, contribute to underwriting strategy, and play an important role in the next stage of the business's growth. This is a role where your expertise will be recognised and your input will have a genuine impact.
Package & Benefits
• Salary c £65, 000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

About the Company
You'll be joining a fast-growing specialist property lender focused on delivering bespoke bridging finance solutions across residential, semi-commercial and commercial property transactions. The business operates in an entrepreneurial environment where decisions are made quickly, collaboration is valued, and experienced professionals are trusted to make a real contribution.
Key Responsibilities
• Underwrite complex bridging finance applications from enquiry through to completion.
• Structure commercially balanced lending solutions across residential, semi-commercial and commercial transactions.
• Work closely with brokers, solicitors, valuers and senior stakeholders to deliver efficient lending decisions.
• Support the ongoing development of underwriting standards, governance and junior team members.
About You
• Min 3 years' experience underwriting bridging finance.
• Experience underwriting unregulated residential, semi-commercial and commercial bridging loans.
• Proven experience managing complex bridging transactions from enquiry through to completion.
