Job OverviewBrookfield AI Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF) is Brookfield’s latest flagship fund strategy within the Infrastructure team. BAIIF is in the process of raising a $10 billion fund with a founder close already completed at $5 billion, including NVIDIA as an anchor investor. In October 2025, BAIIF announced a strategic partnership with Bloom Energy Corporation to fund up to $5 billion of capital to develop 1 GW of behind‑the‑meter, low‑emissions power generation capacity for AI infrastructure projects.
The partnership will be jointly funded 90/10 by Brookfield and Bloom and will focus on projects meeting strict investment criteria including investment‑grade offtakes, long‑term contracts, and minimum return thresholds.
- Leading new financing (e.g., upsizing or new standalone facilities)
- Leading capital markets refinancing of contracts once at COD
- Implementing hedging strategy
- Lead tax equity processes
- Manage ITC transfer process
- Critical analysis of new contracts being added
- Liaising with legal counsel and lenders to ensure compatibility with financing documents
- Support Brookfield on expansion of the Partnership Agreement with Bloom
- Waiver / amendment requests
- Maintaining existing and sourcing new debt lenders
- MSA and lender model management
- 6+ years of experience predominantly in investment banking (debt advisory or capital markets preferred), private credit, direct lending, or similar role
- Direct experience in origination, structuring and execution of debt transactions in the infrastructure and energy sector
- Must have experience of leading a US energy finance transaction including tax equity structures
- Team–oriented with a demonstrated commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and meet timelines
- Proactive self‑starter who can handle pressure effectively and has experience working with senior management teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) with a strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside the organization
- Significant transactional experience, including familiarity with debt documentation and funding
- Strong intellectual curiosity, analytical skills and creative problem‑solving ability
- Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness with the desire to lead a transaction
- A professional, positive, and curious attitude
