Overview
The Tax Department is responsible for global tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning for the Company. The International Tax Analyst, reporting to the Senior Tax Director – International, will assist with the preparation and review of direct tax compliance and reporting for all countries outside North America, working closely with the Senior Tax Manager. The role requires working with financial data and collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly finance and accounting.
Responsibilities- Support the team in compiling and analysing financial data for direct compliance
- Assist in the preparation and/or review of direct tax returns
- Develop a deeper understanding of direct tax systems in key international jurisdictions through training and on-the-job learning
- Support transfer pricing operations for international jurisdictions
- Assist in the review and reconciliation of period-end tax balances (including use of Black Line)
- Support treasury processes through management of related tax compliance
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, or alternatively ACA/CTA (or equivalent).
ExperienceTypically requires a minimum of 3 years of direct tax experience in a Top 10/corporate in-house tax department or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills- Working knowledge of Excel
- Oracle
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas is an advantage, but not essential:
- Knowledge of One Source Tax Provision and One Source Income Tax
- Experience with Alteryx and/or Power BI
