We're working with a successful, privately-owned consultancy business that's entering an exciting phase of growth. Their current interim assignment is coming to an end, and they're looking for an experienced finance professional who can provide stability, commercial insight and leadership whilst supporting the next stage of the business's journey.

Working alongside an experienced Fractional CFO and senior leadership team, you'll quickly become a trusted member of the business, taking ownership of the finance function whilst helping shape its future.

• Producing monthly management accounts and commercial reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
• Supporting strategic decision‑making through meaningful financial insight.
• Strengthening financial controls, systems and reporting.
• Managing and developing a small finance team.
• Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting the leadership team through an exciting period of growth and change.

• Have previously operated as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Head of Finance within an SME.
• Enjoy balancing commercial involvement with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach.
• Can build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and operational teams alike.
• Have experience within consultancy, professional services, recruitment, agencies, project‑led businesses or other people‑focused organisations.
• Are ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience with highly relevant experience).

This isn't simply an assignment to maintain the status quo.

Whilst the initial requirement is for an interim appointment, there is genuine flexibility for the right individual, including the potential for the role to become permanent should there be mutual interest.
