Credit Controller

We are working with a leading global insurer that is looking to appoint a Credit Control Technician to its established finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with insurance credit control or IBA experience who enjoys taking ownership of their accounts, investigating discrepancies and building effective relationships across the business.

You will manage a designated portfolio of broker accounts and oversee the settlement process from initial invoicing through to collection and allocation. Working closely with brokers, underwriters and internal finance teams, you will help ensure balances are settled accurately and within agreed time frames.

• Managing and collecting outstanding balances from brokers and other third parties
• Taking ownership of a dedicated ledger and monitoring aged debt
• Investigating discrepancies involving premiums, commissions and taxes
• Processing cashbacks and allocating incoming payments accurately
• Producing and reconciling monthly broker statements
• Providing stakeholders with regular updates on outstanding balances and settlement issues
