Our client, a globally recognised organisation, is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their Commercial Finance function on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis and finance transformation. Working closely with finance leaders and key stakeholders across multiple markets, you will ensure the timely delivery of critical finance activities while helping to drive process improvements and the adoption of digital tools.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning, forecasting and operational plan deliverables for assigned business units and markets
- Support successful financial submissions, reporting and template consolidation
- Deliver financial insights, trend analysis and cost validation to support decision-making
- Build strong relationships with Finance Directors and business finance teams
- Act as a key contact for business finance deliverables and stakeholder queries
- Manage urgent and ad hoc finance requests within agreed timescales
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and finance transformation activities
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required
- Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or part-qualified professional accountant
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Experience working in complex or matrix organisations is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working with new technologies
- Fluent English and experience working with diverse international teams
