About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Trade Surveillance Compliance Officer to join on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity offering significant ownership of the firm's trade surveillance framework, with responsibility for market abuse monitoring, complex alert investigations and the continued development of its surveillance capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with investment, compliance and technology teams to enhance existing monitoring, improve surveillance processes and support the implementation of new tools and systems. The role will also provide exposure to best execution, communications surveillance and wider trading compliance matters.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' trade surveillance / market surveillance experience

• Strong knowledge of market abuse and manipulation risks

• Experience conducting complex alert investigations and thematic reviews

• Exposure to best execution and/or communications surveillance

• An interest in surveillance technology, automation and process enhancement. Python experience preferred, VBA essential
