An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-performing M&A Associate to join a growing FIG team in London.
This is a fantastic chance to work on high-profile M&A transactions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, gaining exceptional exposure across the full deal lifecycle while working closely with senior team members and clients.
The Role
You will play a key role in the execution of complex M&A transactions, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting transaction execution through valuation, financial analysis, due diligence, and client deliverables.
- Preparing pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations.
- Conducting sector and company research, including analysis of insurance brokers and other financial institutions.
- Assisting with origination efforts and supporting internal investment opportunities.
- Collaborating across the team with early responsibility and strong transaction visibility.
- Participating in client meetings and helping manage processes through to completion.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Around 3 years’ investment banking M&A experience within FIG / Fintech, ideally from an investment bank or advisory boutique.
- A strong academic background.
- Strong valuation, financial modelling, and market analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
- A genuine passion for building relationships and driving impactful outcomes.
