Senior Finance Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior stakeholders across underwriting and leadership teams to provide financial insight and strategic support Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes Deliver performance analysis across products, portfolios, and operational areas Support business cases, scenario modelling, and strategic growth initiatives Drive profitability analysis and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance Produce and present senior management and Board-level reporting Maintain strong financial governance, controls, and reporting accuracy Support regulatory reporting requirements where required Lead process improvement and finance transformation initiatives focused on reporting, automation, and data quality

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience Background within insurance Strong commercial finance or financial controls experience, ideally with exposure to business partnering Excellent analytical, forecasting, and financial modelling capability Strong understanding of governance, reporting, and financial control frameworks Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders Experience working within fast-paced, commercially focused environments Strong systems and reporting tool experience with a continuous improvement mindset
