The OpportunityWe are seeking a Director, Private Credit (Infrastructure Debt) to join our London-based Private Credit team. Reporting to the Head of Private Credit Infrastructure Debt, this role will play a leading role in the execution of our infrastructure debt strategy across the UK and Europe.
This is a senior investment role focused on originating, underwriting, structuring, and managing complex infrastructure debt investments, while contributing to portfolio construction, manager selection, and strategic market development. You will leverage your deep industry relationships, credit expertise, and commercial judgement to identify compelling investment opportunities and drive successful outcomes for the Fund.
Working closely with colleagues across Investments and the broader organisation, you will embody our "One Portfolio" approach by sharing insights, collaborating across teams, and helping to develop the next generation of investment talent.
- A A $7.5 billion global portfolio spanning infrastructure debt, real asset debt, and middle-market corporate lending.
- A specialist global team with deep expertise across infrastructure, real estate, and corporate credit markets.
- The flexibility to invest across the capital structure, including senior, subordinated, mezzanine, and construction financing opportunities.
- A long-term investment horizon and the scale to participate in large, complex transactions.
- Origination & Relationship Management
- Source, originate, and assess infrastructure debt investment opportunities aligned with the Fund's strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, borrowers, investment banks, corporates, and advisers across the market.
- Identify emerging investment themes, sectors, and opportunities that complement the existing portfolio.
- Transaction Execution & Credit Assessment
- Lead due diligence, underwriting, and credit assessment of prospective investments.
- Drive transaction execution from initial review through to investment committee approval and closing.
Oversee financial analysis, modelling, and investment recommendations. - Determine internal credit ratings and prepare investment papers for relevant governance forums.
- Negotiate and execute term sheets and legal documentation.
- Portfolio & Asset Management
- Provide ongoing oversight and monitoring of portfolio loan investments.
- Manage borrower relationships and lead asset management activities, including waivers, amendments, restructurings, and valuation processes where required.
