Assistant Cost and Management Accountant

The Joint Research Office (JRO) is responsible for managing a large, internationally recognised portfolio of research activity.

An exciting opportunity has risen within the R&D finance team to join as an Assistant Cost and Management Accountant to provide a comprehensive financial management support to the Research & Development Directorate.

We are looking for a highly motivated, committed and reliable individual with experience of working within a Finance department.

You will be:

• Technically competento
• Have great attention to detail abilitieso
• Excellent communication skillso
• Experience in Accounting packages
  - Oracleo
• Microsoft skills such as
  - Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and Power Pointo
• Ability to work in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders including clinicians.
• First degree or studying towards CCAB/CIMA/ ACCA professional Accountancy qualification.
