Consistently recognised by the industry for activities in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising, our Corporate Finance business is a market leader in Investment Banking & Capital Markets. We provide a full range of investment banking services, including public and private equity and debt financing, public and private M&A advice and private investment services for corporate and institutional clients. Corporate Finance is organised through global products and regional client coverage spanning different geographies and industry focused teams.

The Investment Banking Coverage & Advisory division is looking to add an Associate in the Industrials/Business Services (IND/BS) team.

• Transaction execution including day-to-day project and process management, financial modelling, structuring, due diligence, documentation, and management of legal and accounting work streams, working with both public and private companies
• Assisting senior team members with origination of new business, including identification of target opportunities
• Assisting with the preparation of presentations for clients, investors, and the broader investment community and responsible for responding to client-specific requests
• Communicating with clients, advisers, and senior investment bankers, including participation in client meetings and events in both origination and execution projects
• Working with our retained United Kingdom listed advisory clients, providing market intelligence alongside broader strategic and M&A advice
• Preparing complex financial analysis
• Developing knowledge and coverage of certain subsectors and geographies within the industry remit of the team

• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or work experience
• Proven experience in Investment Banking or relevant financial services role
• Ideally public and/or private M&A experience
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and corporate finance
• Strong technical skills across financial analysis, modelling, and valuations
• Highly motivated, team player with a desire to work in a client facing role
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
