Associate, Corporate Risk Solutions

Position Summary:

This is an Associate level role in the Corporate Risk Solutions team, based in London, focused on both FX & interest rate derivative sales.

Corporate Risk Solutions provides hedging solutions for corporate customers. This typically relates to the management of interest rate, FX and inflation risk linked to corporate assets and liabilities such as deposits and loan/ bond debt. Products include interest rate swaps, interest rate options (such as caps, floors, collars, swaptions), cross-currency swaps, FX spot, FX forwards & FX options, Deal-Contingent transactions, deposits, and Inflation swaps (GBP RPI, CPI, CPIh Revenue, PAYG and Bond style), TD CRS teams are based in London, Dublin, New York & Canada.

The individual would work closely with multiple teams across the bank including Trading, Corporate & Investment Banking, Credit, Risk, Legal, Settlements and Onboarding, to deliver client solutions. The individual would be expected to work on client pitch materials alongside pricing trades, collaborating with other team members and teams within TD, with responsibility for primary and secondary client relationship ownership.

Product knowledge
- Experience and capability in pricing of, and understanding in, derivative products across from Spot FX, Vanilla Options to IRS, Cross Currency and inflation.

Client Experience
- Engagement and direct exposure to clients in an advisory capacity as well as supporting other team members on all aspects of client coverage.

Entrepreneurial Skills
- Self-starter and internally motivated to drive a business forward unprompted, can work equally well on a project team and independently.

Analytical capability
- Comfortable with modelling hedge scenarios and clear coherent client materials in excel, power point, running XVA pricing and coordinating with other teams.

Relationship Skills
- Credible with clients and ability to work within a high performing team under deadline environment, while working across product partners and other stakeholders within the Corporate team.
