Senior Asset Allocation Analyst

Our client is looking for an Asset Allocation Analyst to deliver high‑quality economic analysis, build quantitative frameworks, and help drive top‑down investment insight for portfolio management.

• Analyse and interpret macroeconomic and market data to support central investment decisions.
• Build, refine, and enhance quantitative models that deepen the firm’s analytical capabilities.
• Produce detailed, engaging research for internal notes to external thought‑leadership pieces.
• Present insights to investment managers and senior stakeholders across the business.
• Proactively identify new research areas and contribute to the evolution of the asset allocation process at the strategic and tactical levels.
• Collaborate with specialists across equities, fixed income, collectives, and risk modelling.

• A strong academic background, a bachelor’s, and a master’s in Economics, Political Economy, Economic History, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of economics and quantitative/econometric techniques applied to portfolio management.
• Coding experience (Python preferred) is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas in plain, engaging language — visually and verbally.
• A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to take ownership of research areas.
• Awareness of the regulatory environment and commitment to high professional standards.
