Officer, Finance Department, Temp

Our Client, a London subsidiary of an international Bank is looking to hire an Officer for their Finance Department. This is a 6 month temporary contract and willbe based on-site in the City of London, Monday to Friday. Further details below:

• Making regular payments to the vendors/service providers.
• Managing suppliers and ensuring supplier reconciliations.
• Month end entries like depreciation, accruals and prepayments and other journal entries.
• GL movement, scrutiny, analysis, review on monthly basis.
• Regular expenses entries in accounting software.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions.

• Assist in Drafting monthly management accounts along with balance sheet analysis, income analysis.
• Assist in Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and Corporate Tax returns.

• Monitor budget performance and assist in variance analysis.
• Assist with drafting of agendas and supporting documentation for management committees and meetings

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) preferred
• Understanding of IFRS, UK regulatory reporting requirements, and banking accounting practices

• Preferred minimum 2 years’ experience in Finance, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, or Management Accounting, within thebanking or financial services sector.
