Are you a highly analytical, CTA or ACA-qualified Tax professional looking for a strategic, hands-on role within a global multinational environment?

Our client is seeking an energised Senior Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, risk management, and strategic tax reporting across their UK business entities. Operating as a core partner to the global tax team and UK business functions, you will drive corporate tax efficiency, safeguard compliance, and optimise cash flow for the division.

Core Responsibilities

Prepare corporate tax returns, financial statement tax disclosures, and quarterly group forecasting for all UK entities in strict accordance with local and international tax laws.
Support key UK tax advisory initiatives, including R&D tax relief claims, capital allowances, and group payment/loss-sharing arrangements, working alongside external advisers where appropriate.
Advise on cross-border business transactions, double taxation treaties, withholding taxes, and VAT, while maintaining and implementing the group's transfer pricing policies.
Manage third-party relationships for UK tax audits and closely monitor UK government policy developments to ensure all commercial implications are effectively communicated to business leaders.
Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Business Finance teams to provide technical tax accounting guidance, protect cash flow, and enhance the overall UK tax control framework.

Required Skills & Competencies

Full ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional tax qualification.
Minimum 4 years of post-qualification UK corporate tax experience, ideally gained within a multinational corporate environment or a leading professional services firm (Big 4 background is advantageous).
In-depth understanding of direct UK tax legislation, transfer pricing models, and direct/indirect tax applications. R&D tax credit experience is desirable.
Strong systems orientation paired with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of translating complex technical tax concepts for non-tax stakeholders.
